I would like to give you feedback re: the quading at Sun City last week.
The team from Sun City were extremely professional and monitored safety precautions consistently throughout the day.
They took us through the dos and don'ts prior to the excursion. During the day they had a team of people on hand on scramblers who monitored us, when bikes didn't start, when people went off track etc they were immediately there to assist. They were based along the track and showed us where to go etc.
The lunch was exceptional with tables, chairs, tablecloths, butlers etc all on hand for the "dirty dozen". One could not fault the food and presentation thereof.
All in all I would like to thank you for a well organized, catered for and most of all an exceptionally fun day.

In July Travelex Global Business payments held a leadership development programme in South Africa supported by the team at Outdoor Adventures. The programme was designed assess and develop leadership capability with 19 people identified as high potential future leaders. We wanted an event that was physically and mentally challenging, fun and with a wide range of activities that would give each person the opportunity to lead a group of their peers. The overall group included 19 delegates, three facilitators, members of the senior management team and the team from Outdoor Adventures. Our delegates came from around the world, Hong Kong, Singapore, UK, Europe, Australia and America.
Outdoor Adventures are very experienced in corporate team building activities but had never put together a three day programme around specific learning and development objectives before and despite the experience of the facilitators nobody on our team had experience of running this type of event in South Africa. Distance prevented us from site visits and meetings so it was all done by phone, email (over 180!), photos and videos.
The end result was a fantastic experience that included raft building, bridge building, stalking for clues in the dark with compasses and maps, building camps for two nights sleeping out in the bush, paintball wars and finally what became know as the “Ultimate Activity, a four hour treasure hunt where successful completion of 12 tasks resulted in clues towards the final prize. These activities included backwards quad biking when blindfolded, the A frame challenge, shooting, fire making and climbing though a human spiders web amongst other things. The team even constructed a bomb that had to be detonated to receive the combination lock to the safe containing the prize - hugely exciting!
It is impossible to summarise a three day event adequately in a concise way but suffice to say our expectations of the event were exceeded enormously. We cannot thank Bertus and his team at Outdoor Adventures enough for the work they put in to designing the programme and running the event itself. All our delegates are referring to it as a once in a lifetime experience from which they learned a huge amount about leadership, teamwork and trust.

Even on our way back to Brits on Sunday, they kept talking about the wonderful experience - something they would treasure for a very very long time.
Would you please on behalf of Brits Pos and Northwest Newspaper Group once again thank Management at the Cabanas Hotel; the Outdoor Adventure Centre; Cultural Village; Santorinis; Calabash; Segway, the guys from transport and everyone else who MADE our weekend. I would just like to say THANK YOU for Friday, Thank you for your team that assisted us at the adventure camp, the field guides that drove us up and down and your team at the interactive lunch.
Everything was great, we enjoyed the day thoroughly.
